Voiceovers
I have been voicing commercials since 1984, when I earned £4.50p for an ad for a shoe shop for Radio Aire!
Since then, I have voiced ads for most commercial radio stations at one time or another, as well as international radio stations and companies.
With my experience, I am able to deliver ads efficiently. I can take direction and fit 40 second ads into 30, if necessary!
I have ISDN,Cleanfeed and Source Connect facilities and am also able to record, edit and deliver work by MP3, or WAV.
I have extensive experience in voicing audiovisuals and corporate reads and have created character voices for exhibits in country homes, castles, museums etc., and also storytelling.
For the three years I played a regular character on the BBC daily soap opera, Silver Street, on their Asian Network. Work includes recordings for Womans Hour, Beena and Dev for the BBC Asian Network and Audio Books, The Fort by Bernard Cornwell , The Nine Lives of Montezuma by Michael Morpurgo, Desperate Glory by Sam Kiley, Departures by Tony Parsons, Sorry by Zoran Drvenkar, Cold Killing , The Keeper and the Toy Taker by Luke Delaney, The Lost Boys and The Angel Maker both by Camilla Lackberg and Lion Heart by Justin Cartwright . I am now providing voices for audio books and dramas for The Games Workshop and have recently recorded a new audio books for Camilla Lackberg and Luke Delaney
In 2013 I played the character Ray Franklin in The Archers for 3 months
I was nominated for the Best Male Voiceover Award at the 2012 Vox Awards.
